is there a way to factor in the suckiness of the conference this year compared to last year? because if we could, I bet OB would be even or (-1) on Prince's sh*t team.

You two should have a circle-jerk of KSU induced self loathing.

it's not self loathing, it's the reality of the situation. name a conference team from last year that was better this year? Probably ISU. And we played them on a nuetral site. Everyone else was worse or equal to their suckiness last year. And we had alot of those worse teams at home. after this game and next, our offense will be just as bad as our defense was last year and our defense won't be as "better" as everyone wants it to be. but we beat ku, so, ya know, maybe we'll steal some kid from silver lake or something.

OB could have lost every game and beat ku and the tards would be appeased.

Look, I'm not here claiming this season is some kind of banner year. Just that they met or slightly exceeded expectations. Regardless of who the coach is. This is a team that lost a 1st round draft pick and replaced him with Carson Coffman and a dude who coudlnt start at USf. Add in a defense that was close to dead last in nearly every category last year. What did you expect.
Many thought we would be lucky to win 4 games. Looking back the LALA game is the one that hurts, could of sent us to a bowl, earned us another month of practice etc. Beating ku is nice but should be an afterthought. I agree Snyder didn't put together his best gameplan offensively, which was paramount against a team that is a poor matchup for us. Not a reason to meltdown.

Snyder has had an extremely Wooly-like season. Your expectation level going in really dictates your satsfaction with this reality.

Just looked back. you're right. It was fans of other big 12 teams that had us that low. We are still about were we thought we would be.

What would you have been happy with? You predicted 6-6. So you predicted to be pissed about the team. I'm not extatic about the season but it isn't like it was some complete failure.

We have one of the 3 or 4 worst teams in the Big 12 and you're bitching while we're still in first place.....Teams that throw and throw it well beat us because we lack athletes. TTU, OU, and now MIzzou and don't say, "O but ku can throw", no they can't, not this year. We should not have been this surprised. Nebraska is a different team. If we beat NEB I don't want you to say a damn thing. I want you to shut ur mouth and not say one good thing about Snyder....I mean am i missing something.....If i'm not mistaken we lost to ku and CU last year and ku wasn't even close. So just stop seriously...take off ur purple and go but on your orange and navy and go to virginia if prince was so much better.

but if Snyds had a first round NFL draft pick at QB, I think he would be way above +1. But, don't let that stop you, whine away.

He doesn't, because he didn't successfully recruit one. Recruiting is part of his job.

Seriously, quit using Prince as a measuring stick. We have had an ok/mediocre season. Nothing to meltdown about. nothing to be all gushy about either. It has been entertaining at least, I became apathetic after L'ville last year.

i haven't compared it to prince once. it was been a ridiculously exciting/fun season and that's all we can ask for. for god sake, we are playing for the north next week. it's a one game season.

Overall . . . this season has more than surpassed my expectations, but today was a day you throw the old "grind it out" stuff out the window, because our defense simply wasn't going to match up with them well, they weren't going to stop them . . . and so K-State needed to open up the offense and throw the ball, they didn't do it until it was too late, and MU's D-Line clowned our O-Line. Just a bad job by the K-State staff . . . and I am because I just don't like mu, never have, never will. But I'll be really if this is still going on in a couple of years. I think the coaching abilities are there on this staff, I just worry about the recruiting . . . it's only marginally better this year IMO.

The thing that everyone is ignoring is that the division is much worse than expected.

When some are tossing around ku and mu as the teams to beat in the North, you know that the North isn't very good . . . sorry but neither of those 2 programs have down anything but ride the back of weak scheduling, when they've had a stamp to really make a statement (and no, making a statement isn't beating a 100th ranked offense team that ended up with 3 losses) they've failed miserably.

No it isn't. Only one team(ku) has been worse than expected.
